Sarah Sorenson was hired in September 2011 after graduating from Colby College where she majored in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Policy. Sarah comes to Potomac Riverkeeper after interning at Food & Water Watch and San Diego Coastkeerper as an Education & Outreach Intern. At Colby, Sarah was a leader in environmental advocacy. She led a successful Take Back the Tap campaign, eliminating bottled water from the campus. Sarah has won several awards for her environmental advocacy work, including a Morris K. Udall Scholarship in 2010.
